About us
"Carlsberg don't do holidays but if they did I'm sure Garry would be working for them!!!
Go!!!! "
John McFarlane
Joyriders is a small, friendly business able to tailor the holiday to your needs. We have 6 full-time and 2 part-time guides, all of whom are fully qualified in mountain bike leadership and outward bound first-aid.
Garry, Jude and other members of the team all left professional careers in the UK before relocating to Spain, so they know how important it is that guests maximise their time with us before heading back to face it all again.
Who are we

Garry Moyle (Director)
Garry is a genious captain of industry, trained in finance, sales and marketing. Most of the time he puts this to use on developing Joyriders. He also played table tennis at national level (under 12's!!!) and basketball at county level

Jude Jewitt (Director)
Jude left the UK working as a nurse within the NHS to co-found Joyriders with Garry. Jude is a qualified massage therapist and can help relieve those aching leg muscles at the end of a hard ride. Judes greatest fear is feeding Mark and Nick

Martin Hills (Manager, Cerro Macho)
Martin started mountain biking in 1987, and is a self confessed bike nut. He has worked in recruitment and sports event management before joining Joyriders. He loves carbon bits, movies, technical trails, F1 and George, whom he’s married to...

George Hills (Manager, Cerro Macho)
George was dragged into bikes as the only way of ever getting to see hubbie Martin! Formerly a veterinary nurse, she recently trained in accounts. She loves climbs, and has an unhealthy obsession with Jackie Chan movies

Mark Nesbitt (Manager, Estepona)
Mark came from a business background having a degree in Business Studies and training as a Chartered Accountant. Having a love for bikes since an early age he now has his dream job. Favourite quote "I'm going to eat till it hurts"

Jonny Mitchell (Guide, Cerro Macho)
Jonny used to work as a furniture designer, loves riding at the 7 Staines, and his favourite colour is green. When not riding he is happy cooking and will eat almost anything (including slow guests)

Nick Merchant (Guide, Estepona)
Riding bikes since the early nineties, Nick hails from the Lake District, loves riding the impossible and going where no man has boldly gone before. As the musical one of the crew, Nick likes to bash tunes out on his guitar and talk about films

Scott Goodman (Guide/Mechanic, Estepona)
Riding since he was 12, Scott loves to fiddle with bikes – we think he even uses GT85 on salads instead of olive oil. Having previously worked in customer service and as a chef, Scott enjoys “scaring himself silly” on tricky descents
