The lakeThe lake

Lake Iznajar is known as "the Lake of Andalucia". A flooded valley, the lake hides a village below its waterline. It stretches for 32km and is home to wonderful established marine life. The lake offers many things to many people not least of all fishing. Common folklore states that there are so many fish in the lake you can walk on the surface.

Several of the rides use the lake as a convenient end point, where most people cannot resist the temptation for a mid-ride swim (dont forget to pack you costume each day!)

Coupled with its wonderful sandy beach the lake offers a fantastic centre piece for a whole array of watersports. The lake is used extensively as a training ground for top European tri-athletes and hosts an annual "Ironman" contest of high repute. If your energy levels are low then laying flat out on an inflateable isn't so bad either!
