Joyriders Estepona is the perfect mountain biking holiday for those who want it all - the magnificent Sierra Bermeja mountain range providing excellent trails for all levels, award-winning beaches, and vibrant nightlife. In contrast to our Cordoba site in rural Andalucia - a tranquil retreat surrounded by olive groves and fig trees - Estepona is a cosmopolitan town, the perfect combination of old and modern.
Although only 45 minutes from Malaga airport, Estepona has escaped over-development and retained much of the traditional Spanish charm of it's humble beginnings as a small fishing village. It's the perfect location for those wanting plenty to see and do without the mayhem stereotypically associated with the Costas.
This is much more than a mountain biking holiday. If you live by the motto "Work hard, play harder" then this is the place for you. A typical day would involve a 3-5 hour ride, followed by lunch at one of the many restaurants in the town serving Spanish or International cuisine. Following a "siesta" to recharge your batteries you could stroll to the beach for a dip in the sea and a spot of sunbathing. Then it's back to the apartment to freshen up, before heading out to sample Estepona's famed nightlife, perhaps a music bar in the old town before hitting one of the all-night clubs. Or maybe sightseeing is more your thing, or water-sports, golf - whatever takes your fancy you will find it in abundance in this special town.
