Beach and Marina
The Blue Flag Award-winning beaches are clean, well equipped, surprisingly sparse, and stretch for a total of 23 kilometres. There's the main sandy beach of La Rada in the centre of Estepona and a delightful sheltered cove, Playa El Cristo, to the west of the marina.
The marina is at the western end of the seafront promenade and is a great place to stroll or just sit and take in the scenery. It is divided into two parts, one for the working fishing vessels and the other for pleasure boats, including some truly magnificent yachts. Here it is possible to rent a boat with or without a skipper, and find companies offering dolphin spotting trips or fishing excursions. There are also many bars and restaurants to cater for all tastes.
